Giro d’Italia 2026 in Nessebar

Nessebar will host one of the most exciting opening moments of Giro d’Italia 2026 in Bulgaria, combining a seaside atmosphere with family activities, concerts, and sports initiatives. The program begins on April 25 with a bike expo, a creative poster workshop, a free bicycle check-up and quick adjustments by Bike Fast Fix by MarToBike, and a cycling ride.
On May 6, the parking area of Lidl Ravda will host a special meet-and-greet with Lidl-Trek under the title “Come Meet Lidl-Trek!”
On May 7, Nessebar will present an especially rich program. The city will host Mini Giro Nesebar – an initiative for children and young people under the motto “Waves and Bicycles – Welcome Giro!”, organized by ABUS by IntesA, AllMountain Bike Shop, and Nessebar Municipality. At Mesambria Square, there will be a marketplace bringing together local producers, residents, and visitors, as well as a series of concerts featuring OOSHI-Nessebar, ODK-Nessebar, and the groups of Yana Laskova 1905 Community Center. The evening will end with a concert by trio VIVA and the rock legends B.T.R. at the Fortress Walls, followed by fireworks.
On May 8, the program includes the start of amateur cycling along the Giro route in Nessebar, an amateur run along the same route, and the official start of Giro d’Italia 2026 from the North Port of Nessebar.
