Burgas will be one of the most active host cities of Giro d’Italia 2026, with an extensive program combining sport, culture, exhibitions, concerts, seaside activities, and a vibrant festival atmosphere. From May 1 to May 10, the Flora Burgas National Flower Exhibition will take place at the Flora Exhibition Center, while the area in front of the Pantheon in the Sea Garden will host a bazaar and DJ program. Between May 1 and May 4, Gallery Atelie will present the exhibition “Pure Visibility in Dora Valier” by Attilio Taverna.

On May 6, the program includes a festive trip to St. Anastasia Island, cycling cultural routes, a civic ceremony for the Day of Bravery and the Bulgarian Army, the traditional cycling criterium “Burgas Cup”, a festive folklore concert featuring PFA Dobrudzha, a concert by the Burgas Brass Orchestra, a concert by Goresht Piasak, and the team presentation ceremony for Giro d’Italia 2026 at the Summer Theatre with a concert program featuring PFA Strandzha, Trio DÉJÀ VU, and acrobatic clubs. The same evening, the magic show “The Magic of Zayn” will also take place in front of the Pantheon.

From May 7 to May 9, the youth music festival “SOLiSiMi” will be held at the NHK Cultural House. On May 7, visitors can enjoy cycling cultural routes and a major festive concert at St. St. Cyril and Methodius Square, featuring choirs, soloists, young musicians, dance schools, and artistic groups.

On May 8, Burgas prepares an even more impressive program: cycling cultural routes, the unveiling of the art installation “109 Flamingos”, a flash mob by students from Yuri Gagarin School at Lazur Stadium, a demonstration sailing show in Burgas Bay, the “Burgas” flash mob in the Sea Garden, a symbolic performance with pink umbrellas shaped like the infinity sign, a dance spectacle at the “The Snail” open stage, and once again “The Magic of Zayn”.

On May 9, the city will host an open European focus points reception, the “Seagulls” flash mob by the Burgas State Puppet Theatre, the official stage start from Burgas, the team parade through the central city area, a Europe Day concert by the Burgas Brass Orchestra and the orchestra of the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National School of Music and Stage Arts, as well as the art installation “Burgas in Motion.”
