Valor and Glory International History Festival 2024

The international historical festival “Valor and Glory” will be held on September 27-29 near the walls of the Old Town. The large-scale event marks 580 years since the battle for the Shumen fortress and 20 years since its first edition.
This year’s edition of the festival will include historical reenactment clubs from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania and Serbia. During the three days, residents of Shumen and guests of the city will be able to be a witness demonstrations of crafts, martial games and techniques, presentation of medieval life and culture.
