Festival of the Smilyan Bean

The Festival of the Smilyan Bean celebrates one of the most famous traditional products of the Rhodope Mountains — the Smilyan bean, renowned for its taste and quality.
The event includes culinary exhibitions, tastings, folklore performances, contests, and local craft displays, uniting locals and visitors in a joyful celebration of Rhodope traditions and cuisine.
