Festival of Old Urban Songs “Mara Vrachanka”

The Festival of Old Urban Songs “Mara Vrachanka” will take place on October 18, 2025, and since its founding in 2000, it has become one of Bulgaria’s leading forums for this musical genre.
The festival has a competitive format, featuring ensembles, duets, and solo performers, all evaluated by a professional jury.
Last year’s edition attracted 380 singers from 24 towns and villages, and this year’s event once again expects participants from across the country.
